As the new Call of Duty: Warzone & Vanguard trailer reveals, Season 3 arrives on April 27.

In the new trailer for Call of Duty Warzone & Vanguard Season 3, we catch glimpses of what to expect in the coming months. This trailer is entirely cinematic with no actual gameplay, following the Warzone Pacific storyline as events in Caldera take a turn for the worse.

While we catch a glimpse of three new characters in the trailer, who will likely become available with the launch of Season 3, the main reveal seems to be the introduction of Godzilla to the game.

We can't see the monster itself, but a set of radio equipment playing the roar serves as the trailer's climax, along with narration stating that "the Nazis had unwittingly shaken something awake." It seems certain that we'll see Godzilla appear in some form, but we don't yet know how.

Call of Duty's official account on Twitter released a short audio clip that also includes Godzilla's roar. However, if you run this audio through a Spectrogram, you can see the text “Monsters Are Real”.
